Thanksgiving might have to be our favourite holiday! Why, you ask? Two words: Turkey Drumsticks. We don’t carve our turkey the traditional way. We go all in, caveman style! Since our mouth’s are watering thinking about it, we thought our ears should experience the same euphoria!

Here are our 5 favourite “drumstick” songs from the 80s (aka: songs that have great drums)! We know it’s a matter of opinion but If you disagree with this list, you are no longer invited to Thanksgiving. Just kidding!… sort of.

U2 – Sunday Bloody Sunday (1983)

Drummer: Larry Mullen Jr.

It will be a bloody Sunday for turkeys if you catch our drift!

Van Halen – Hot For Teacher (1984)

Drummer: Alex Van Halen

Great video… great drums!

Michael Jackson – Billie Jean (1982)

Drummer: Ndugu Chancler

The best beat to moonwalk to! If only we could moonwalk…

Rush – The Spirit of Radio (1980)

Drummer: Neil Peart

Actually, just every Rush song. Wasn’t Neil Peart the best?? Rest in Peace sir!

Phil Collins – In The Air Tonight (1981)

Drummer: Phil Collins

Everyone knows this iconic solo and if you don’t… no, you do.
