You know the old expression “When in Rome …”, well there’s a new expression, “When in New Jersey …” and Coldplay lived up to that last weekend. Bruce Springsteen joined Coldplay on stage at Metlife Stadium. And we assume off stage as well, unless things got weird after.

Springsteen joined Chris Martin on stage for two songs, performing “Working on a Dream” and “Dancing in the Dark.”

The excitement began with a teaser from Chris Martin saying there was some “magic in the building.”

“I have a tattoo on my arm, which is cause this person is my hero,” he said. “And please welcome — I can’t believe we get to say it — but please welcome Mr. Bruce Springsteen.” Springsteen then appeared to a chant of “Bruuuuce”.

“Well, like Chris said, he’s had this song tattooed on his arm for a while, so I guess I’ve got to sing it,” Springsteen said before introducing “Working on a Dream.”

The Boss is getting ready to hit the road himself soon, we wonder if there will be any special guests on his tour?
