The Darkness paid tribute to The Pogues’ Shane MacGowan at a recent show in Dublin. Frontman Justin Hawkins led the crowd in a sing-along of “Fairytale of New York”.

Shane MacGowan, frontman of The Pogues, died on November 30 at the age of 65 from pneumonia.
“It is with the deepest sorrow and heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our most beautiful, darling, and dearly beloved Shane Macgowan,” his wife Victoria Clarke, his sister Siobhan, and father Maurice said in a statement.
