New podcast explains why Bruce Springsteen is a Queer icon

Bruce Springsteen is a very unlikely figure to be considered a queer icon, but a new podcast aims to prove just that.

‘Because the Boss Belongs to Us’ is a seven-part podcast series where hosts Jesse Lawson and Holly Casio aim to prove Springsteen is, in fact, a queer icon.

The podcast’s trailer synopsis states, “Through original reporting, tender personal narratives, and playful, sound-rich surprises, Jesse and Holly go on a journey to not only understand why The Boss low-key resonates with so many queer folks, but also what it even means to idolize a celebrity in this way.”
