Oasis band members Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher are pictured during a photocall at Wembley Stadium, where they announced their biggest ever tour of open air venues in the UK and Ireland next summer.

The UK government is calling for an investigation into the ticket-selling industry after last week’s Oasis fiasco.

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy says they plan to review issues like dynamic pricing, secondary sales, and the technological platforms used.

She added “it’s depressing to see vastly inflated prices excluding ordinary fans from having a chance of enjoying their favorite band live.”

Many fans complained about being kicked out of the queue after being mistaken for bots. Some who did eventually manage to get through the queue were then disappointed to see the cost of remaining tickets had increased due to Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing policy.
